Far from ever having a normal life, Jason Thornberry has managed to come back from odds that would ruin the average person. One day his band was opening for Eminem, and then he was waking up in a hospital, where he would spend four months after being randomly assaulted by gang members. Jason had to re-learn everything he previously took for granted (walking, talking, eating, etc.), and went back to school after his release back into society. It was suggested he would find a fitting refuge in a nursing home, as he was still in a wheelchair, but he lives on his own now, is in college, writing a book, and has made a remarkable recovery, as well as a remarkable contribution to Cosmik Debris Magazine.
